Afghan anti terrorism forces kill Taliban leader Mullah Khaliq in Balkh province

The Afghan anti terrorism forces have killed a key Taliban leader, Mullah Khaliq, AKA Saifullah, and captured four members of the terrorist group during an operation in northern Balkh province.
The task force conducted the operations in Qaland Kheli, Qarghanchi and Sayad Villages of Sholgara district of Balkh, according to a 209th Shaheen Corps statement.
The statement added that Afghan forces cleared the three villages during the operations and captured four members of the Taliban group.
The Taliban group has not yet issued a statement on the operation.
