Israel targets Hezbollah convoy in Syria

An Israeli drone has targeted a Hezbollah’s convoy on the border between Syria and Lebanon, al-Arabiya reported.

The convoy was targeted by two missiles. There has been no information about the number of casualties. Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath correspondents said that “Hezbollah members escaped from the car before targeting it”.

The incident occurred in the morning, in Jdeidat Yabous village, formerly known as Ainkania, located 45 km west of Damascus, near the Syria-Lebanon border.

Since 2012, both Iran and Hezbollah have been supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian civil war.

In February, Israeli attacks killed seven people among the forces of the Syrian regime and the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
