Lithuanian Army to receive Protector Remote Weapon Station from Kongsberg

Kongsberg will deliver to the Lithuanian Armed Forces its Protector Remote Weapon Stations (RWS).
The system will be integrated on Oshkosh Defense joint light tactical vehicles (JLTV).
To date, the company has delivered about 20,000 Protector RWS units to more than 20 countries worldwide.
The system is designed to offer increased protection and situational awareness to soldiers. The RWS features an advanced and integrated sensor suite.
The delivery, carried out as part of the US foreign military sales (FMS) program, has an estimated cost of $170.8 million.
