Russian Army gets new secure P-243P SATCOM system.
Russian BBO troops in the Eastern Military District have received a batch of P-243P new mobile secure SATCOM system, according to Russian MOD.
The system is designed to provide operators with noise protected and closed mode of operation communication.
The SATCOM system guarantees secure video-conferencing with both units and central command.
The delivery is part of a State order for the year 2020.
The system proved its effectiveness to assist the coordination of emergency forces in 2019 Irkthusk flood. The three P-243P SATCOM systems were delivered to the flood zone, to coordinate a group of forces that included two ATsPT-5.6 and two ATsPT-10 tankers of the KUZBAS brigade.
