The Iskander operational-tactical missile complex of the Russian Guards Combined Arms Army ZVO performed automated simultaneous missile firing in the Ivanovo Region (Western District), as part of tactical exercises planned during the winter period.

During the tests, missile units completed over 20 basic tasks. To examine the readiness of fire control systems was performed the simultaneous electronic launch of missiles to hit conventional highly protected targets along various trajectories.

After the automated launch of missiles, combat teams completed an operational move in the designated area.

Protecting from the launching of weapons of mass destruction by the conditional adversary, radiation, chemical, and biological defense specialists made proper usage of personal protective equipment, electronic equipment, arms, and specialized equipment.

After the conditional bombing, NBC troops carried out the degassing and disinfection of training areas, employing the decontamination vehicle ARS-14KM.
